Welcome to my story
Where I come from:
My name is Nerea Lancho Poza, and I am a junior International student-athlete from Madrid, Spain.

I moved to the United States at 18 years old to pursue my college education and continue my athletic journey at Indiana University Indianapolis.
I am majoring in Finance and International Studies at the Kelley School of Business Honors Program, and minoring in Economics at the School of Liberal Arts.


My journey as a student athlete:
I am part of the Women's Golf team at Indiana University Indianapolis, where I started competing in the Fall of 2021.

I have played in the majority of tournaments during my four years at IUI, placing in 7 top 20s, 4 top 10s, and 1 top 5.
​
I also placed second on the team during the season of 2022-2023 with a scoring average of 77.93 shots.
​
The Honors College:
I applied to the Kelley Honors Program and the Honors College after earning a 4.0 GPA my first semester in college, and a 3.91 average GPA throughout my freshman year.
​
I ended up getting accepted in the Honors College and the Kelley School of Business Honors program starting the Fall of 2022.
